Tips: -The wind is strong in Kapalua. You will need to stake and secure your arch and arrangements to withstand strong winds.
-Kapalua is very green because of the sporadic scattered showers (usually just a drizzle or mist). Be prepared for any type of weather.
-Fortunately there is an indoor backup in the chapel for intimate weddings. However, your weather call needs to be made BEFORE your wedding furniture and details are set, not after. Once everything is set up that is where it all stays.
-A fabric canopy or chuppah does not protect you from the weather, but it can shade you from the sun.
-There are several places on property to set up for ceremony. See which angle and view is what you want for your wedding.
-Use a sound system and microphones for your ceremony to be heard. Your guests will not hear your ceremony officiant or you over the wind without amplification.
-Hire a professional to videotape your wedding ceremony, as they have the microphones and camera equipment to capture YOU and not the outside noise. If you do this on your own, you will probably just get a lot of wind noise, background noise, etc. and not the words of your ceremony.
-Get that golden hour for photography by having your ceremony end an hour before sunset if possible.
-The dressing area is available to you starting at 10am. Avoid scheduling your beauty services sooner than that if you want to get ready at the venue.
-The dressing area has its own bathroom for VIP's separate from the two guest bathrooms.
-A steamer, long mirror, and hanging garment rack for your apparel are in the dressing area.
-We like to provide reserved seats for the VIP's and have the couple provide the names and seat selections. We also like to provide the standing order in writing to avoid confusion on the wedding day.
Ceremony music included:
Processional- A Thousand Years (The Piano Guys)
Bridal Entrance- I Get To Love You- Ruelle
